MEAT BALL STEW
1/2 to 3/4 lb. ground beef
Onion
1/3 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tbsp. parsley, optional
1 can beef broth
Oil, to brown beef
1/3 c. flour
1 sm. can tomatoes
1 pkg. peas & carrots, frozen
Mashed potatoes

Make meat balls from ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, rosemary, parsley, pepper and 1/4 c. beef broth. Shape into balls, roll into flour, saute in oil until brown. Remove to large bowl, blend in remaining flour stirring constantly until mixture browns. Stir in remaining beef broth and tomatoes, breaking them with spoon. Cook until thickened and boil 1 minutes. Simmer 10 minutes after adding meat balls.

While meat simmers, cook peas and carrots until tender. Drain, add to stew. Simmer 5 minutes. Just before serving, spoon mashed potatoes into ring around edge. Sprinkle with paprika.
