BARBECUED STEW BEEF 
3 lbs. lean stew beef
2 c. water
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. prepared mustard
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 stick butter
2 onions, chopped
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tsp. lemon juice

Cut beef in small pieces, remove all fat. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a rapid boil, reduce heat and simmer about 3 hours or until tender.
