2 c. plain flour
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Place ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Roll out in jackball size. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and mash with fork. Bake 8-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.
