CHARMIN CHERRY BARS 
CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened

Mix, press in bottom of ungreased 9 inch square pan. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

FILLING:

1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. Maraschino cherries, drained & chopped
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and add eggs, beat well. Stir in cherries, coconut and walnuts. Spread over crust. Bake for additional 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely and cut into bars. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
