1 c. sugar (scant)
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. apples, chopped (unpeeled)
1/2 c. pecans (or walnuts)
1 egg, beaten

Mix in order given and place in greased shallow pie pan (or any other shallow pan). Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. This is best by vote of my family served slightly warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
