PEANUT BUTTER CLASSICS 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream Crisco, both sugars, peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg at medium speed of electric mixer.

Combine all dry ingredients. Mix into creamed ingredients, drop rounded tablespoon of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten criss cross with fork dipped in flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove. Yield 2 dozen.
