CHICKEN WITH SOUR CREAM &
PAPRIKA
 
1 frying chicken
2 tbsp. butter
1 onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. paprika
1/4 c. chicken stock
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cream or milk
1/2 c. sour cream

Cut chicken into pieces. Heat butter in heavy skillet. Saute onions until golden. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Add chicken stock. Arrange chicken in skillet, cover and cook until tender, about 40 minutes. Blend flour with cream or milk. Gradually add 1 cup of stock from skillet to flour/cream mixture. Return blend to skillet. Heat until thick. Add sour cream and heat without boiling. Serve with rice or noodles.
