CHERRY PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread pineapple and syrup evenly in dish. Spoon cherry pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix, then chopped pecans over fruit. Cut butter into thin slices; place over other ingredients. Bake 50 minutes or until done. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
