CARROT/BROCCOLI SUPREME 
1 1/2 lbs. carrots (10 or 12)
Salt & pepper
6 tbsp. butter
1 box frozen broccoli, chopped
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk

Cook carrots in salted water until tender; drain. Mash and add 3 tablespoons butter and salt and pepper to taste. Melt remaining butter and blend in flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper. Gradually add milk and cook until thick. Add broccoli, mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Put mashed carrots in greased baking dish and make hole in center and pour broccoli into depression. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. (Attractive and colorful to set at a festive table.)
