Devils food cake mix or brownie mix

HOT FUDGE SAUCE:

1 1/4 c. sugar
4 1/2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
Dash of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter

Make cake or brown mix as directed.

FOR FUDGE SAUCE: Mix cocoa, sugar, flour and salt in saucepan. Pour milk over dry mixture gradually; mix well. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Add butter and remove from heat. Serve with ice cream and nuts, if desired.
