JAPANESE FRUIT PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
Pinch of salt

Cream together, then add other ingredients.

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. raisins or chopped dates
1 tbsp. vinegar

Cook in unbaked pie shell from 40 to 50 minutes at 325 degrees.
