1 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. ground veal 2 eggs 2 tbsp. bread crumbs 2 tbsp. grated cheese, Romano or Parmesan 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 2 tsp. dried parsley flakes 2 cloves garlic (or the equivalent of garlic powder) Milk Put bread crumbs and grated cheese in separate bowl and add enough milk to make it very moist. In another bowl mix together the ground meats, add the salt, pepper, dried parsley flakes and garlic and mix well. Then add the two eggs, mix well again and then add the bread crumbs mixture. Shape into meatballs. When frying meatballs fry on a medium to high flame so that the outside will brown rather quickly and the inside will stay rare. After frying set aside. |
