JOANNE'S CASSEROLE 
12 slices white bread, crustless
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 lb. chopped ham, sausage or bacon
4 eggs, beaten slightly
2 1/2 c. Half and Half
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 sm. finely chopped onion

Butter six slices bread and place butter side down in large glass pan (13 x 9 inch). Layer with 1/2 meat and 1/2 cheese. Repeat layers with remaining bread, meat and cheese. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over top. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes until firm. Great served with fresh fruit. Also great for holidays to make the day before.
