CHOCOLATE CRAZY CAKE | |
3 c. all-purpose flour (self-rising can not be substituted) 2 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 1/3 c. cocoa 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. Crisco oil 2 tbsp. white vinegar 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. water Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) pans. Mix together dry ingredients. Add oil, vinegar, and vanilla; blend well. Add 2 cups water; mix. It will be thin. Pour into pans and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, then remove from pans. When cool, ice with your favorite frosting. Do not serve for 1 day. Cake will be moister and have a better flavor if you wait until next day. |
