Make and bake 1 (makes 2 layers or 9 x 13 inch baking pan) cake mix according to directions. Make 1 package of pudding according to package directions. Cool cake and cut into 1 inch squares. Place 1/2 of cake squares in a glass bowl. Top with half of cooled pudding. Top with half of a large container of Cool Whip. Sprinkle 5 chopped Skor bars over Cool Whip. Repeat layers of cake, pudding, Cool Whip and Skor bars. Serve.

Different flavors of cake and puddings give different flavors. For example use spice cake and butterscotch pudding or chocolate cake and chocolate pudding.
