BEEF BRISKET 
5 lb. beef brisket
1 c. ketchup
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. dry onion flakes

Trim all fat off beef. Put into roaster uncovered for 1/2 hour at 550 degrees to sear and lock in juices. Add remaining ingredients to roaster. Add enough water to cover roast.

Cover and roast approximately 3 hours at 300 degrees. Cool a while and slice thin. Put back into juice and refrigerate overnight. Put into 350 degree oven uncovered for 1 hour prior to serving.
