3 lg. onions, sliced and separated 1 whole (6-8 lb.) brisket Salt Pepper Thyme Garlic Pa prika 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained and broken open Layer in the order given in a heavy roasting pan. The onions keep the roast off the bottom of pan. Cover with foil. Bake in 325 degree oven for 3 1/2 hours. Remove roast. Cool 15 minutes and slice. |
