VERY GOOD PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
5 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 egg, beaten

Combine flour, salt, and shortening; cut in size of peas or smaller. Combine cold water, vinegar, and egg; add to the flour and shortening mixture. Roll out. Bake at 425 degrees.
