BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
Put in bowl and mix:

4-5 Granny Smith apples, sliced thin
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg
2 tsp. lemon juice

Put in uncooked 9 inch pie shell.

Combine and sprinkle on tops of apple mixture:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar

Put into heavy brown grocery bag - clip open end. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour. Check bag occasionally. Open bag and cool. Serve with French vanilla ice cream.
