ORANGE GLAZED APPLE PIE 
6 c. apple slices
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. orange juice
3 tbsp. butter

Toss apples with combined sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Turn into pastry-lined 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle with orange juice and dot with butter. Cover with top crust, seal and flute edges. Cut slits for steam to escape and bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes, until pie is brown and apples are tender. Spread orange glaze over hot pie made from 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons orange juice and 1 teaspoon grated orange peel.
