BREAD MIAMI 
1 loaf French or Italian bread
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. grated onion
1 heaping tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
2 slices bacon, uncooked

Remove all crusts from bread except for bottom crust. Make a series of diagonal cuts through the bread. (Do not cut slices completely apart.)

Soften the butter. Mix onion, butter and poppy seeds together. Spread all but 2 tablespoons of butter mixture between slices of bread. Fill each cut with grated cheese. Spread outside of loaf with remaining 2 tablespoons of butter mixture.

Place loaf on aluminum foil. Cut each slice of bacon in half and put on top of loaf. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove bacon before serving.
