PEANUT BUTTER CANDY 
3 c. sugar
1 c. cream (evaporated milk)
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. butter
4-5 heaping spoons peanut butter

Bring sugar, cream, water, vanilla, and salt to a boil in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly. Boil 10 minutes or to soft ball stage, 265 degrees. Remove from heat. Add butter and peanut butter. Stir to melt and blend peanut butter. Pour into 8x8 inch buttered pan. Cut when cool.
