PEANUT BUTTER CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. dark Karo
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. peanut butter

Add all except last 3 ingredients. Cook to soft ball stage in cold water. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, butter and peanut butter. Beat until stiff. Put into greased cookie sheet until cool. Cut and serve.
