ORANGE GLAZED SWEET POTATOES 
16 oz. can pineapple slices
3 oz. pkg. orange flavored gelatin
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
Dash salt
1/4 c. butter
2 lb. sweet potatoes (5 - 6 med.), cooked, peeled and cut crosswise into thick pieces

Drain pineapple; reserve juice. Add water to juice to equal 1 cup. Heat juice to boiling; add gelatin, brown sugar and salt and stir until dissolved. Add butter; bring to boil stirring constantly. Add potatoes and pineapple slices. Simmer about 15 minutes, basting frequently until glazed and syrup thickens. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
