BEEF AND MUSHROOM LOAF 
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp. milk
1 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
2 tbsp. snipped parsley
1 tsp. onion salt
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

In bowl combine first 6 ingredients. Add beef; mix well. Put in 9 inch glass pie plate. Microwave covered with wax paper 5 minutes; drain off fat. Cook uncovered until done, about 2 minutes more. Sprinkle with cheese and cook until cheese melts 45-60 seconds. Let stand 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
