BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

Use at least a 2 day old cinnamon bun. Slice in half. Mayo on the bottom 1/2, then stack thick slice of blaogna, thick slice Velveta Cheese, another slice of blogna, couple bread & butter picles. Top with other 1/2 of bun. Micro wave till cheese melts. Great with cold glass of milk. (Cold beer might work too!)

We just had a bologna sandwich at the local diner. They used Texas toast for the bread, thick sliced bologna, mayo on mine, mustard on hubbies, and a well done egg with lettuce and tomato. Home fries too. It was delish!

Try toasting your bread (toaster) and put a piece of bologna in the microwave with a slice of cheese on it 30 sec. Then put mustard on bread and place bologna and cheese in between both slices and enjoy. My kids do this for themselves. ;)

I have searched for years for this recipe. It was handed down for generations in my family, and I thought that it would end with me. Now that I have it again you can bet it will be carefully guarded. Thanks for ALL the recipes. They're great.

To eliminate an unwanted spouse - promise them a "fried" bologna sandwich.....but serve only toasted bread with mustard. Tell em' if they want the bologna, they have to leave and buy their own - its too good to share.

Whole wheat bread, mayonnaise, American cheese and you have to smash potato chips in between all of it!

Terrific recipe. I use a few slices of bologna, and I add cheese!
More variations:
**Rye bread, pumpernickel, whole wheat - really any bread you desire
**Toast bread, or toast on bagel setting, so only one side of bread get toasted
**Chips are always an asset

Shouldn't it be called a ham sandwich if you use ham instead of bologna? Just wondering...

I always put the mustard on the outside of the bread. Made a mess for years. This chef is a genious! Now my wife won't divorce me over the mustard stains I leave in the bed!

Sometimes I don't use bread and just roll the bologna with a stripe of mustard inside. The Bologna Roll!
