BARRETT'S SUCCULANT PEAR DESSERT 
Pears and sauce taste great over yellow cake or even vanilla ice cream!

2-3 fresh pears, pitted and peeled (or 1-2 cans pear halves)
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. butter

Place butter in skillet and melt over low heat.

If using canned pears: Drain halves and pat dry. If using fresh pears: Pat dry and halve vertically.

Roll pear halves in sugar, covering completely.

Increase heat under skillet to medium-high. Sauté pear halves in butter on medium-high heat until hot and pears begin to slightly brown. Enjoy!
