SILKY FUDGE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. mini marshmallows

Grease 8 inch pan. In 3-quart saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and salt. Cook over low heat until mixture bubbles, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, pecans and vanilla until melted. When mixture is smooth, pour onto prepared pan. Chill 45 minutes until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store in tightly closed container with waxed paper between layers in cool dry place. Makes approximately 5 dozen.
