STRAWBERRY-RHUBARB JAM 
3 c. strawberries
3 c. diced rhubarb
6 c. sugar

Mash strawberries. Cut rhubarb into 1/2 inch pieces. Combine and mix. Add 4 cups of sugar and bring to a rolling boil and boil for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups sugar and boil another 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars. Adjust lids at once and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Remove from canner and complete seals. Makes 2 1/2 pints.
