BEEF PASTRY 
2 crust pie shell
6 potatoes, sliced thin
1 lb. steak, cubed
2 onions (med.)
Butter
Salt and pepper
1 c. boiling water

Line 9 inch pie dish with pie crust. Add cubed steak, salt, and pepper; dot with butter. Add thinly sliced onion and sliced potatoes. Dot with butter, salt, and pepper. Add the 1 cup boiling water and put the remaining pie crust on top. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce to 375 degrees. Bake two hours or until meat is tender.
