ONE - PAN BROWNIES 
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
7 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts

In a 2 quart saucepan, melt butter, oil, and cocoa, stirring with a spoon until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, stirring until smooth. Add salt, baking powder, and flour, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Spread on greased 9 x 12 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes. Cut while still warm. Store, tightly covered.
