DEATH BY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES | |
1 pkg. brownie mix (I use Ghirardelli) 1/3 cup chocolate syrup (Nesquik works best), divided 8x8 or 9x9 metal or glass pan (tin-foil works as well) 2 Hershey's milk chocolate bars Follow the directions on the box and before pouring the mix into the pan, add about half of the chocolate syrup, and then mix it into the batter. Break one of the Hershey's bar into bits 'n' pieces and spread them out along the bottom of the pan. Pour half the batter on top of the Hershey's bar pieces and repeat the procedure with the last Hershey Bar. Pour the rest of the batter in to the pan. It is OK if the Hershey's bars aren't all covered up. Using the rest of the chocolate syrup, pour it on top of the batter. DO NOT MIX THIS CHOCOLATE SYRUP IN! Put the pan into the oven for the appropriate time on the box. When the brownies are done let them cool for 15 minutes. OPTIONAL STEP: Put even more chocolate syrup on top of the brownies when they are finished cooling. Cut, plate, and ENJOY!!! Submitted by: Danielle Burk |
