BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. unbleached flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. honey
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 lg. bananas, mashed
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix flours, soda and salt together. Cream butter until fluffy. Add honey in a fine stream, beating constantly. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in bananas. Fold in dry ingredients and nuts.

Place in well-greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool thoroughly before cutting. Makes 12-15 servings.
