CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
5 med. sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. self-rising flour
1 stick butter (I use about 3/4 stick)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Peel potatoes; cut into strips about 1 inch thick. Place in 3-quart baking dish. Mix sugar and flour together well; sprinkle over potatoes. Top with butter. Cover casserole and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
