OATMEAL BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
4 tbsp. soft fat
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. boiling water
1 c. warm water
5 c. flour

Put fat, sugar, salt and oatmeal in bowl. Add boiling water. Cool to warm. Add yeast, warm water and flour. Add 4 cups flour. Put 1 cup flour on bread board. Mix and knead until shiny. Put in greased bowl. Let rise until double. More flour may be added if dough is sticky. Turn on board and cut in 2 loaves. Put in bread pans, let rise until double. Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees or until done. If you like, 1 tablespoon caraway seeds may be added when mixing.
