CANDY POPCORN 
2 1/2 qt. popped corn
3/4 c. chopped pecans or peanuts
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Place popped corn and pecans in a greased jelly roll pan. Melt butter. Add brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Do Not Stir. Remove from heat. Stir in soda. Add vanilla, pour over corn and stir until coated. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Stir after 15 minutes. Store in a tightly covered container.
