OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. oats

Mix flour and baking soda in a bowl. In another larger bowl combine butter, sugars and pudding mix. Beat until smooth. Beat eggs, gradually add flour mixture. Stir in rolled oats (raisins optional). Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Oatmeal cookies hold a sweet memory with me. They are a family treat for all hours and at meals. For breakfast they are great. For snacks they are excellent.
