BREAD PUDDING 
2 c. bread crumbs (French or Roman Meal bread)
4 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar

Soak bread in milk 5 minutes. Add butter, salt, sugar, flour (slowly) over eggs. Add vanilla and mix. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake in pan of water at 350 degrees until firm, about 50 minutes.
