ALMOST NO-CALORIE SOUP 
2 green peppers
4 or 5 whole tomatoes (fresh or canned)
5 lg. onions
1 lg. head cabbage
1 lg. celery bunch

SEASONINGS:

8 beef or chicken bouillon cubes OR
Dry onion soup to taste
Salt and pepper

Chop all vegetables into small chunks. Boil vegetables in water with seasonings (bouillon cubes OR dry onion soup mix to taste). Add salt and pepper to taste. Boil for at least ten minutes. Lower heat and simmer until vegetables are of desired consistency. Increase or decrease water while cooking to get desired thickness of soup.

This soup has very few calories, and can be eaten in almost unlimited quantities (in case you are watching calories). This recipe makes a LOT of soup--I usually give some away to my children or neighbors.
