NICK'S ORANGE DRINK | |
2 oranges, seeded and peeled 2 c. orange juice 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs Blend all ingredients. DIETITIAN'S NOTE: To lower total calories, fat and cholesterol, use an egg substitute (egg beaters). The egg substitute insures the absence of salmonella due to the pasteurization process. Raw eggs when kept between 45 to 115 degrees are vehicles for transporting salmonella. Store raw eggs or products made with raw eggs below 45 degrees promptly to avoid salmonella poisoning. |
