APRICOT BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Sift dry ingredients together.

1 c. Jr. baby food apricots
1 c. salad oil
1 c. chopped nuts
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. almond extract

Beat eggs; add oil, apricots and extract. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Bake in loaf pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. If you line bottom of pan with waxed paper the loaf comes out easy. I make 1 large loaf and 1 small loaf.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk

Combine all ingredients in small pan and simmer 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add a pinch of soda. Pour over top of hot loaves.
