1 gal. ripe figs 4 c. sugar 2 sliced lemons Wash figs, put in heavy roast pan, sprinkle with sugar. Soak overnight. Next morning cook over low heat, add sliced lemons. Cook until clear and thin syrup. Put in boiled jars and seal. |
