HOT DOG RELISH 
4 c. ground onions
1 med. head cabbage
10 green tomatoes
6 red peppers
1/2 c. salt
6 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
4 c. cider vinegar
2 c. water

Grind all of the above ingredients together (coarsely ground). Add 1/2 cup salt and let stand overnight. Drain mixture the next morning and add sugar, celery seed, mustard seed, turmeric, cider vinegar and water. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes. Can in jars while hot.
