I have tried this recipe twice already. The first time I used half and half instead of the whipping cream. The second time I prepared it as is. Both times I found that i didn't need to use the cornstarch because i was happy with the consistency of the sauce. in any case I'd say overall I prefer it prepared with the half and half, although it tastes great both ways. I also cut back on the butter because i didn't feel i needed all 1/2 c. of it. But like I said it's a great recipe. easy and quick to prepare. I'd recommend it!

I made this for a staff dinner. Freaking Amazing! I used some garlic and herb and some spinach and herb seasonings instead of garlic and parsley.
