4 lg. fully ripe bananas, peeled
1/2 to 3/4 c. chocolate syrup or sauce
1 qt. cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate or vanilla ice cream

Slice bananas into a bowl. Mix with electric mixer or blender. Add chocolate syrup or sauce, vanilla and a little of the milk; mix or blend. Add rest of milk and mix or blend well. Top each serving with a scoop of ice cream.
