APPLE PIE ICE CREAM 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
4 c. milk
4 beaten eggs
4 c. whipping cream
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
3 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 c. broken vanilla wafers

In a large saucepan, combine sugar and flour and stir in the milk. Cook and stir until slightly thickened and bubbly. Stir 1 cup of the hot milk mixture into the eggs in a separate bowl. Return all to the saucepan. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Cover and chill.
