OATMEAL ROLL OUT COOKIES 
2 c. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
2 c. Quaker oats

Beat butter until creamy, beat in sugar, gradually blend in eggs, vanilla and salt. Gradually add flour to mixture, stir in oats. Chill dough 2-4 hours. Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness, cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. When cooled frost and decorate. Makes approximately 5 dozen.
