CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix (Duncan Hines butter recipe) or a devil's food one
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
1 pkg. premixed chocolate frosting

Dump all ingredients except frosting in a bowl and stir, not beat, until moistened. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Test for doneness. Frost when cake has cooled. You can sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired. Serves 10.
