JULIA'S CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES 
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
16 oz. Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients together and put in 11x15-inch jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool before frosting.

MINT FROSTING:

2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
green food coloring (a few drops)

Combine confectioners' sugar, butter and milk. Add peppermint extract and food coloring. Beat well. Spread on brownies.

CHOCOLATE GLAZE:

1 cup chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

When frosting is set, glaze bars with chocolate chips and butter melted together in double boiler or microwave. Dribble over the mint frosting and spread with knife carefully.
