APPLESCOTCH CRISP 
4 c. (4 med.) peeled and sliced cooking apples
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. water

TOPPING:

2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 pkg. (4 serving size) dry butterscotch pudding (not instant)
1/2 c. butter, melted

Heat oven to 350 F. In large bowl, combine filling ingredients; mix well. Pour into ungreased 9 inch square or 11x7 inch pan.

In bowl, combine all topping ingredients; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 F. for 45-60 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. 6 to 8 servings.
